Emma Jane Julien is an administrative assistant to artists, publicists and managers. Her first experience in the business of music was managing a band during third grade recess. They split up and Emma took a few years off to focus on completing her primary and secondary education but soon rediscovered her calling.
The Polyjesters, Peter Katz and Rob Szabo were the first artists to nurture Emma’s budding career and give her work. After graduating from Harris Institute and the University of the West of Scotland, she got her first full-time job at Jane Harbury Publicity, where she learned the ropes and received an education in music and business beyond what any institution could provide.
Upon departing from JHP, Emma started her own administration company (EMMA) with the goal of helping musicians have more time to make music. Long-time client Peter Katz and Corin Raymond, David Newland, Jonathan Byrd, Mike Todd, Sean Pinchin, Corrina Rose, Union Duke and Pinwheel Music are among the talented folk she has had the pleasure of working with.
EMMA stands for Entertainment Management & Music Administration.
